Poetry in slow motion

two lilliesEvery morning I take a walk around town or along the beach for 40-60 minutes. I always take my camera with me just in case I see something I’d like to share with others or use as inspiration.

After posting the image on Facebook, the following poem came flowing out.

Poetry in slow motion
Nurturing each other through
Their short-lived days
Ephemeral intimacy
Two lilies huddle in the shade of a palm tree

The music in the waiting room is filled with anticipation, like the sound track of a video game on a constant loop….
