Is There a Reason?

Why are we all different?
Is it because
the flowers are so?
Is it because
the animals are so?
Or is it because there is
a lesson to learn?
It would be so simple
to be all of one colour,
all of one faith,
and all of one point of view.
Are we different
because we learn by being different?
Is there some Master Text Book,
and we the pages,
the words,
the questions
and the answers?
Difference must be beneficial
otherwise likeness would be
our condition.
So, is there a reason?
I think there is.

On Saturday, I heard a self-made millionaire speak. He talked about life being filled with choices and how you move toward your goal by always making the choices that lead you there. That’s what inspired this week’s haiku. Choices fill your life The moment of truth is here Which road will you take? Originally posted…

I received a box of Leadership window cards this week. There are 30 in a pack and you are supposed to open one each day.
