Black Halloween

two black catsFor an exercise we did in the first grade, we were given a bunch of magazines and cards and stuff. We were to collect a bunch of images that we liked. Then we were to write a story about them. This was one of my stories.

Once upon a time, long before you were even born, there was a screaming scary night. It was Halloween in the middle of May! The ghosts haunted with chains. Goblins and skeletons and vampires and witches and monsters and black cats spooked, haunted, howled and laughed. Jack-o-lanterns were put out. A little girl called “Quiet” went in the yard to call her white cat in. There, in the yard, stood two giant black cats.

She screamed and ran in the house. She said, “There is two very, very big cats in the yard and they ate Whitey!” Cause there is some white hairs around their mouths!” Well that is one thing that happened that night.

Another thing that happened was:

A new monster was created, it was called the Chimera. It had a tail like a boa constrictor, its body was like I do not care what, and it had three separate heads, on of which was a lion’s, the second a goat’s, and the third an abominably great snake’s. And a hot blast of fire came flaming out of each of its three mouths.

Witches did brews and said magic words like this: Spiders, snake’s knees and witch’s grog, you are a bright green frog!

The End.
