Three Sexes

three sexesThe idea of a more than two sex species fascinates me. How would that work? On Feb. 14, 1989, I made this attempt:

The three sexes:

  • Fé analogous to the female
  • Ma: analogous to the male
  • Fema: a cross between the two

The Fema bears the child. It has the “machinery” for life-support and childbirth.

The Ma gives the pre-seed to the Fé, which is thus induced to create a seed, which it gives to the Fema. This causes a state in the Fema the induces the Ma to give a “fertilizer” to the Fema, thus forming the zygote. All three are needed in the process.

The crunching sound of someone walking along the path broke the silence of the refuge. Silence, of course, defined as a place where no human ear is receiving sound waves. The refuge is a place where nature thrives and the half-way-there souls await their payment. Today, after centuries of only birds singing, animals scurrying and…

Sesno Galler is a character from my first novel (working title “Patricia Arian Richfield”). I got his name from my Chemistry teacher in High School — I took the teacher’s name and twisted it around. He was a teacher in training and I didn’t really like him much. The novel isn’t polished yet and may…

There once was a time when there were too many people. It was a time when it wasn’t hard to have a baby. Nature tried to solve this problem. There was famine. Drought. Disease. But there were also too many doctors trying to save the babies; a noble, if not self-defeating, endeavor. It was a…
