52 Haiku Week 9

Today’s haiku was inspired by an absolutely beautiful sunset I enjoyed last week. The sky was slightly overcast and the layers of clouds were all different colors … light purple blue, brilliant pink orange and even a scattering of white. Stunning.

Periwinkle sky
Tangerine clouds float by
Across my mind’s eye
